Hilltop | vertical oil painting
“…looking at the sky was something that we all should do more often.” Merely an hour after I finished this painting and washed my brushes, I sat down with my book and happened upon this passage from Alexander McCall Smith’s book To the Land of Long Lost Friends. It was a beautiful, serendipitous thing. Sometimes we are too busy to look at the sky, but with this painting, you can gaze at a blue sky and pretty clouds even indoors.
This is an original oil painting on canvas 20x16" canvas from my Scenic Skies collection and was inspired by my love of clouds and gazing at the sky. This one is ready to hang on the wall-- no frame needed. Pairs well with “A Comforting Place.”

Studio Pick Up is available for local buyers to pick up from the studio within 7 days of purchase (we will arrange a time and date after purchase). If shipped, your painting will be carefully packaged in a sturdy box or ridig mailer. Shipping includes tracking, which will be e-mailed to you. Most paintings ship within 5 business days. Please allow up to two weeks for arrival. International shipping may take longer.
