Seaside 16x20" horizontal painting
The Story
Experimenting with a set of palette knives my husband gave me was so much fun! I had a very clear idea of using them to paint waves and clouds, so I got going at it in this beach landscape. Like almost every painting I make, it started off good and then hit a bumpy patch. I kept going, just playing and not putting any pressure on the outcome, and she came through in the end so beautifully!
It reminds me of a favorite quote:

It’s about the journey of discovering your purpose and enjoying the ride. In all that you do, remember to trust the process. Lean into it, and remember that the ride, after all, is all that we have, and it is all that we need.
The Inspiration
“Seaside” is an original 16x20” acrylic painting on canvas of a Florida white-sand beach at sunset. Gazing at this beach, feeling the warmth of the sunset reflecting off the waves, you feel your place in the world. You have a clear purpose here, and you know you are needed by the universe. Shipping
Studio Pick Up is available for local buyers to pick up from the studio within 7 days of purchase (we will arrange a time and date after purchase). If shipped, your painting will be gift-wrapped in kraft paper, cushioned, and carefully packaged in a sturdy box or ridig mailer. Shipping includes tracking, which will be e-mailed to you. Most paintings ship within 5 business days. Please allow up to two weeks for arrival. International shipping may take longer.

Materials and Care
This beach painting was created in layers of professional-grade acrylic paints with brush and palette knives. Gently dust with a clean, dry cloth as-needed. The canvas is 16” tall by 20” long. The edges are 3/4“ deep and painted dark blue.
