Walk With Me | 36" square painting
This sunset painting takes place in a spot I frequently walk along with my family, where the view in the evening of milder months always feels magical. This is the first official one of my Small Town Project pieces and is also one of the very rare paintings on canvas I have stretched by hand myself.
The deeper meaning in it is a highlight of nature's wins, something I strive to celebrate in my work. I often leave out human figures and modern elements from my landscape work because I like to imagine the world in its calmer, less disturbed days.
However, I intentionally included the road and power lines here to help emphasize just how brilliantly nature outshines anything humantiy can muster and how it works to thrive despite our humanly greed. Nature wins again!

Studio Pick Up is available for local buyers to pick up from the studio within 7 days of purchase (we will arrange a time and date after purchase). If shipped, your painting will be carefully packaged in a sturdy box or rigid mailer. Shipping includes tracking, which will be e-mailed to you. Most paintings ship within 5 business days. Please allow up to two weeks for arrival. International shipping may take longer.
Materials and Care
This painting was created in layers of professional-grade acrylic paints. Gently dust with a clean, dry cloth as-needed. The canvas is 36” tall by 36” wide with a 2” depth and wired across the back for hanging.
