August Favorite Things

In my Inner Circle subscriber e-mails, I often share my current favorite things, which may include tools and materials I use in my artwork, books I'm reading, games my family loves, and things I recommend for camping or home. I want to start sharing them here, as well, so you can more easily come back to them anytime.

The links here are affiliate links, which means if you choose to buy the product using my links, I'll get a tiny bonus from Amazon at no cost to you. This helps support my artwork and my family, so thank you for using my links!

Here are three favorite things I want to share with you this month:

This is a super fun new-to-us game that our whole family can play, including our youngest, who turns six in a few days (even though it's recommended for 8+). It's not easy to find a game that six (or more) people can play, especially one that is fun for the whole age range of us. This is that game!! We've spent hours sitting on the porch playing together, learning some strategies and just having a good time with some friendly competition, with a little addition and subtraction thrown in. This one is joining the frequent rotation, which also includes Uno.

To make practicing spelling words more fun, I got my kids window markers and let them write their words on the window. Eventually, they realized how fun it is to decorate the window with pictures, too. BUT the markers weren't very vibrant or good for coloring things in. SO I searched for a better tool and found these awesome window crayons. My girls especially love to decorate the window that faces out to our driveway for each season. This set has lots of colors, is really easy to use, and wipes off with just a cloth and some water.

We spent a week in our camper in northern Michigan last month, and the sand and dirt were getting everywhere daily! We picked up one of these Shark stick vacuums that also mops like a Swiffer Wet Jet. It does an awesome job at quick clean ups for the whole camper floor! I wouldn't recommend it for the main cleaner in a house, but for a small area, like a laundry room or pet space, this could be your new BFF.

That's all for today! If you end up purchasing any of these items, I'd love to hear what you think! You can reach out to me via email here. PS: If you want to get my favorite things and book lists sent right to your inbox, be sure you're on my Inner Circle e-mail list! You can subscribe to that here.

Until next time,

Erin
